First Niters

The First Niters Club was established over 50 years ago to serve the needs of our Culver Lake teenagers. The club usually meets at the clubhouse on a weekly basis. Its members elect their own officers, plan recreational and fund raising activities, and occasionally perform various service projects. This group also enjoys the guidance and assistance of the clubhouse manager (s), a liaison with the Association Board, and much needed volunteer parental participation.
Throughout the years, the First Niters have sponsored popular novelty plays, theme dances, water carnivals, ethnically oriented dinners, and many, many more interesting activities.
While over these many years this organization has seen changes in form and style, its purpose remains the same: The First Niters club was formed to give our teenagers the opportunity to enjoy their summers at Culver Lake by meeting and doing things with other young people. This organization provides an opportunity for teens to enjoy all the amenities and activities inherent in our lake community, while sharing the responsibility of conversing and enhancing our very unique lake environment.
